Victims Services Support Scheme
The Victims Services Support Scheme provides financial and counselling support for individuals (and sometimes secondary victims) who have been a victim of crime in New South Wales. Eligible individuals can receive 22 hours of funded counselling hours with an Approved Victims Services Counsellor. Our Principal Counsellor, Nicole, is an approved counsellor with the scheme and is specialised in working with victim/survivors of domestic violence, sexual abuse and childhood trauma.

Applying for Victims Services Counselling
Primary & secondary victims can apply for counselling using this form: Primary Victim Claim

Working with The Dawn as a recipient of Victims Services Counselling
Once you, your adolescent or child have received approval for counselling, you can proceed with making a decision about which Approved Counsellor you would like to work with.
If you decide you would like to work with The Dawn, you will need to make contact with us, and provide:

If there are multiple family members requiring support with approved counselling, we will discuss with you if it may also be useful for some or all of the family members to receive counselling with another Approved Counsellor. The Dawn will be able to assist with referral recommendations.
